Class Description: As students read To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, they learn about the characters, plot, and themes of the book. Racial discrimination and sensitive topics will be addressed through Socratic discussion. Students are expected to complete pages in a workbook for class assignments and hands-on projects (e.g., baking, skits, etc.) Final class involves watching the film.
