All regular lessons are 45 minutes. We ask that riders arrive
15-30 minutes prior to their lesson start time in order to groom and
tack their horse (once they're able) and plan to stay after their lesson
to help care for their horse, put equipment away, and clean up. You
should plan to spend close to 1.5 hours at the barn.
Instructors tailor each lesson plan specifically to the riders
in the group. Lessons will focus on safety, skill building, and
progress. Occasionally instructors will incorporate trail rides, mounted
games, horsemanship, unmounted skills, and other fun activities.
